I’m Ganesh Baniya, a person with a positive mindset and a strong passion for learning, contributing, and working in diverse sectors of society. I believe in continuous growth and staying involved in meaningful projects that bring change to people and communities.

My educational journey began in a community school in my village. I later completed both my secondary and higher education in the district headquarters of Jajarkot.
Recently, I completed my Master’s in Education (M.Ed) from Mid-Western University, specializing in the field of education and development.
📚 Learning Journey & Career Development
After completing Grade 12 in 2067 B.S. (2010 A.D.), I began exploring different career paths. My first step was into journalism, where I learned about media and news reporting. I worked as a district correspondent for several national-level media houses, writing and reporting news stories from the grassroots level.
Even today, although I work full-time in another field, I remain actively engaged in journalism during my free time.
🏢 Professional Experience in Social Sector
Since 2071 B.S. (2014 A.D.), I have been working with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in different parts of my district. Over the years, I have held several roles and responsibilities focused on:
Empowering economically marginalized communities
Supporting income generation and skill development programs
Leading projects related to child protection, education, and health
Working directly with vulnerable groups through community-based initiatives
With over 11 years of experience (up to 2082 B.S.), I’ve gained deep insights into development work, community mobilization, and grassroots project implementation.
